Reaper, Bowcaster, Dark Drinker – the 3 new exotic swords
- The three new exotic swords resemble each other. Each sword does a specific type of damage: Reaper has Solar, Bowcaster has Arc, Dark Drinker has Void damage.
- All three weapons block the two elements that they are NOT more effectively than the type of damage they themselves belong to. So Reaper can better block Arc and Void damage than Solar damage.
- They have a perk that increases the user’s armor.
Each of the weapons also has a special ability:
- Reaper (Solar) can perform a Solar uppercut
- Dark Drinker (Void) can unleash a spiral of Void energy in all directions
- Bowcaster (Arc) can shoot a beam of Arc light, which turns into a thunderstorm
The swords are surely the most mysterious new element in the database and, despite #NoSwordHype, they are likely what most guardians are most excited about. They supposedly have to be “forged” by the players and won’t come as a drop. The quest is tied to Lord Shaxx.
