The First and Last Cabal Raid: The Leviathan
Opulence, gold, and greed. Who could embody that better than the Leviathan raid of Destiny 2? The first and, as it seems, last Cabal raid led Guardians onto the grand, golden ship of the fallen Cabal Emperor Calus.
They had to do his dirty work, entertain him, and eliminate pests lurking in the underbelly of his ship. The raids on the Leviathan offered a lot of variety, not only from the perspective of the tasks but also for the eyes.
Although Oryx’s Dreadnaught also made Guardians feel puny, the Leviathan left an impression that no other raid could leave. When you finally defeated Calus himself and entered his chamber full of cyborgs, you were left speechless.
Not to mention the many rooms and hidden corridors that turned the raid into a maze in which you could easily get lost. A great raid that unfortunately lies slumbering in the content vault.

And while this moment is not a reason to celebrate, it belongs to the best moments of the franchise. Guardians have never truly felt a real consequence. Gods like Crota and Oryx were slaughtered, and there wasn’t a moment when Guardians thought, “Wow, we can die forever.”
The death of Cayde proved that even known faces, once regarded as immortal in Destiny’s story, can die. Beloved faces that are now memories.
