In the MMO shooter Destiny , the Gjallarhorn will be tied to a hard quest.
Bungie is on a big interview tour after E3. A thrilling interview was given by Producer Scott Tayler to Playboy. So, the Gjallarhorn is said to be tied to a hard quest. They want the reward to match the effort. The quest should be “worthy” of the Gjallarhorn, he says. However, there are no further details.
The Gjallarhorn is expected to return with Rise of Iron. Pre-orders will receive it as the “Iron Gjallarhorn” with a different skin.
Bungie is currently tight-lipped about the details. The same goes for the “lost 7 Exotics“. Here Bungie reveals no details. The only Exotic currently being talked about is the Gjallarhorn. However, it is hinted that with Rise of Iron, more Exotics will come that haven’t been talked about yet. Exotics that no one knows yet. Further questions about the lost 7 Exotics were consistently avoided – it seems Bungie simply doesn’t want to talk about it.
The most exciting questions simply get no answer
It’s similar with the content drought after the delay of “Destiny 2”. The interviewer brings it up, Bungie representative Taylor changes the topic and does not address it. This tactic is common at Bungie, not only mastered by DeeJ.
In the Playboy interview, Tayleor emphasizes that the infusion system will be maintained. Players will be able to infuse every item that was introduced after The Taken King to the new max value. This is solid and can be counted on.
Responses about content after Rise of Iron are not as solid: For the time after the fall expansion, a return of the Sparrow League and other events is hinted at. However, Taylor does not make any specific commitments here.

Destiny Rise of Iron will be released on September 20 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
