In the MMO shooter Destiny , there are exotic class items from the 3 factions. How do you get them? And what do they provide?
Generally, the iron rule is: You can only equip one exotic armor piece at a time. However, there is an exception for exotic class items. With the perk “Exotic Pur” you can equip an exotic class item along with an exotic armor piece. But, to say it right away, this is more of a cosmetic thing.
Obtaining the exotic class items in Destiny is not too difficult, but it is time-consuming. Because the items are only available if you have reached Reputation Rank 25 with the reputation factions Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, or Future War Cult.
Reputation Rank 25 is a long way …. but it shines so beautifully
When you reach Reputation Rank 25, you will receive a special quest. With Dead Orbit it is something like “The Strider of the Arachen”, with the New Monarchy you will become “The Strider of the Executor.” This is also a task of diligence. Important here: You must properly represent the faction by equipping a shader, the emblem, and the class item of the faction.
The class items themselves, once you finally have them, give you a bonus to the reputation gained with the faction. In terms of stats, they hardly differ from the legendary class items. Therefore, they are not worth it for a pure power gain.
However, there is a bonus to reputation and when you “spawn,” there is a small additional effect.

For the Warlock, there are these 3 exotic class items:
