In the upcoming April update for the MMO shooter Destiny, new emotes will be introduced that you can acquire in the Eververse. We present them here.
In a live stream last night, Bungie presented the rewards and items that will enter the Destiny universe with the upcoming update. Along with fresh armor sets, “new” exotics, and various other items and mechanics, 13 emotes will also be introduced.
These are the 13 emotes of the Destiny April update
You will be able to acquire the following gestures in the tower in the Eververse. Tess demands silver for these cool moves, a currency that you must purchase with real money. The emotes are by no means game-changing, they are merely optional content that each Guardian can acquire according to their own taste.
These are the Legendary emotes:
- Taken Shiver: With this emote, you wiggle like what is usually expected from the Taken. The gesture is said to be unlocked when you have collected the entire Taken set. It says: “Oryx is dead, right?”
- Club Dance: This emote costs 500 silver. Here, your Guardians move rhythmically, following the motto: “Feel the beat. Feel the love.”
- Instructional Dance: With this emote, the Guardians of Light show “fresh moves”. Cost: 500 silver.

- Do it: These moves come with the note that one should realize their dreams. This is a clear reference to the actor Shia LaBeouf, whose motivational video became a meme on YouTube. You can do this for 500 silver.
- Kicks Dance: “I think I can dance.” As long as these kicks don’t hurt anyone, such moves are completely permissible, right? The inspiration is the so-called “Elaine Dance” from the cult TV series Seinfeld. Cost: 500 silver.
These are the “Blue” emotes:
- Praise The Gun: With this, you can praise your weapon for a mere 200 silver.
- Amazed: With this gesture, you can express your astonishment for 200 silver.
- Sumo: With this sumo gesture, you can prepare for battle. Cost: 200 silver.

- Bye-Bye: With this, you can say “Goodbye” to your buddies, also for 200 silver.
- Praise the Light: For 200 silver, you can worship the Light. After all, it is the Light that gives us strength.
- I don’t know: If you have no idea at all what your clan member wants from you, you can show him that with this gesture. This fun costs 200 silver.
- Crane Kick: With this move, you are the best, at least if you believe the description: “You are the best…” This takes inspiration from the crane kick from Karate Kid. 200 silver.
- Rude Taunt: This gesture is also available for 200 silver, with which you can taunt your opponent.
All these emotes can be enjoyed with moving images in the following video. There are definitely some highlights. Whether you want to acquire them with money must be decided by each person.
What do you think of these emotes? Do you recognize any other references?
