In Destiny, the weekly reset takes place today, on September 20th. However, this is not an ordinary reset: Today is the release date of “The Rise of Iron”! Rise of Iron begins today.
This week, our coverage of weekly activities will run a bit differently than usual. Today is a special day: The “Rise of Iron” era begins – along with the weekly reset at 11 AM.
What are the weekly activities available right at launch? Where does the Nightfall take us? We will take a look at Destiny right at launch and will update this article gradually – we will basically provide live updates on what happens after 11 AM. You won’t miss anything with us.

The Nightfall Strike on September 20th is the new strike
The first Nightfall strike after the launch of RoI is “The Wretched Eye”. Recommended Light Level is 360.
Modifiers are:
- Epic
- Arc Burn
- Brawler: Damage from Guardian melee attacks is increased.
- Shielded: More enemies carry shields.
- Suppressor: Guardian shields are reinforced but regenerate slowly.
In the new heroic SIVA Crisis Strike playlist, the modifiers are: Heroic, Arc Burn, Juggler, Catapult.
In the Oryx raid, the challenge is Golgoroth.
In the arena, there are extra points for precision kills. The modifiers are Specialist and Riptide.

Before you can start, you must download and install the Updates 2.4.0.1 and 2.4.0.2, which are bundled with version 1.28 on the PS4. You cannot start the MMO shooter beforehand.
At around 11 AM, you can then begin with the new content. The new campaign will likely be the first thing many Guardians will play in the autumn expansion. In it, you will first liberate the new social space called Felwinter Peak and then become an Iron Lord yourself. The first of a total of 5 story missions in RoI is already known.

Additionally, the developers recently announced that you can now purchase the original soundtrack in the Bungie Store. If you do so, you will receive an exclusive emblem: “The Transcendence”. You can only obtain the item through this means. The soundtrack costs $7.
Live Updates for the Launch of Rise of Iron in Destiny
Update 10:40 AM: All necessary updates and patches are already live according to Bungie. At 11 AM, you just need to fly to orbit, and all new content should be ready.
