In Destiny, a video shows two knights displaying amusing behavior. Are they preparing for the Trials?
It’s Thursday, the weekend is still sooo far away, so we could use a little pick-me-up. This comes in the form of a short, snappy, and fun Destiny video.
A curious video is currently making the rounds on reddit: It shows two knights, who are being targeted by a Guardian. However, then a questionable event occurs: One knight pushes the other out of the line of fire of the Guardian – thus saving him. You should check it out:
I Save You, Buddy
This scene directly reminds users of the Crucible and the Trials of Osiris. In PvP, fallen fireteam members can be revived on the spot. Sneaky enemies take advantage of this and aim directly with their sniper towards the spot where the revived player’s head will appear. A precise shot, and he’s down again.
To prevent these direct sniper kills, there’s the tried-and-true method of “pushing” your buddy shortly after they are revived by running into them. This way, snipers have a harder time. This behavior is reminiscent of the knights in the video.
Especially in the Trials of Osiris, this method is useful, as this PvP mode heavily relies on revivals: Because only when all three are dead at the same time, the match is lost.
What do you think of the video?
