Astrocyte Verse – Warlock Helmet
Key Perk: Teleportation – Reduces the cooldown of the short teleport and increases the distance traveled.
The helmet stands out not only because of its difficult name but also due to its interesting design. The exciting part is that “Teleport”, Blink, is actually a skill that Destiny wanted to get away from, because it was too strong in combination with shotguns in PvP. Thus, it was nerfed.
If a Warlock can teleport faster and more often with Astrocyte Verse now, it could push this playstyle, which Bungie disapproves of, back to the forefront and make it more attractive.
In PvE, such a “longer short teleport” would certainly be a useful thing for the rather mobility-intensive challenges in raids or for players who just want to jump around like Nightcrawler.
