In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris start today, on August 4th. They are the penultimate Trials in the history of Destiny 1. On which map will it be played?
After the “House of Wolves” expansion in mid-2015, the Trials of Osiris took place for the first time in Destiny. Good two years later, on August 11, 2017, the starting signal for the Trials will ring for the last time. Then it will be over. Only in Destiny 2 will they return in an updated form.
So today, on August 4th, the penultimate Trials of Osiris in Destiny 1 begin. If you want to go to the Lighthouse one more time – or for the first time – you don’t have much time left.
The Trials start today at 7 PM. They will last until the next weekly reset on Tuesday at 11 AM. This time, the map Shores of Time will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three against each other and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is fully defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only strong gear matters, but also communication among the Guardians. An extensive knowledge of the map is advantageous.
At 5 and 7 wins, you’ll receive random rewards from the pool of Osiris. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re performing well, you can reach Mercury with a “Flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardians.
