In the MMO shooter Destiny, there is a trophy and an achievement called “Sing the Iron Song.” To achieve this, you need to ring the bells in Felwinter Peak in a specific order. We will show you how to do it.
“Rise of Iron” is full of secrets. One place where there are many puzzles to decipher is Felwinter Peak – the new hub where you will spend a lot of time in the coming months, as important NPCs are located there.
For example, after a climb in dizzying heights, there is a reward (almost) right at the top of Felwinter Peak, which you reach through a difficult and long jumping puzzle. Additionally, there are whispers that a secret room will be unlocked or something cool will happen once you activate all the artifacts at the statues. However, we will likely only be able to uncover this secret in a few weeks.
Then there are also several bells in the Iron Temple, which you can find at the outer edge of the statue room – the mausoleum. If you ring them correctly, you will receive an unlockable achievement.
The order of the bells in Felwinter Peak
First: You need a strike team consisting of at least two guardians. Ideally, you should have 5 guardians. Alone, you cannot ring the bells quickly enough.
Next, you need to number the bells. There are a total of 6 of them, although you can ignore the sixth. The large bell that stands alone and adorns our title image is number 1. Then you walk to the left. The remaining bells are numbered 2 to 6 from left to right.
Now you divide your strike team. One guardian must stay at number 1 the entire time. The other guardians operate bells 2-5. The sixth bell is not needed.
Then you quickly let the bells ring in the following order:
1-2-3-1-5 – 4-3-2-3-1
Another source on reddit states that you need to play two more tones for the Iron Song:
1-2-3-1-5 – 4-3-2-3-1-3-4
Here you can see a video in German about this:
In German, the translation actually turned out to be a bit unfortunate. Here, “Ring Bell” was translated as “Klingel drücken”. So guardians, let the bells ring!
Note: Some guardians are still puzzling over the meaning of the sixth bell. Is it needed for another secret? Or can it only be used to play more songs? Some players also use the bell as a reset bell if they make a mistake in the sequence.
Are you going to play the Iron Song soon?
