Destiny: Dawnstrike and Iron Banner on June 28 – This is what the week brings

Today, on June 28, a new week starts in Destiny on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. We present the fresh challenges.

Today, there’s a lot going on in Bungie’s MMO shooter: The postponed June Iron Banner is supposed to start today – however, there will be several hours of maintenance beforehand. If you planned to play Destiny today starting at 5 PM, you better come up with alternative evening plans. You can read the exact schedule of the maintenance on June 28 here.

Alongside Lord Saladin’s arrival at the Tower, there’s also the “regular” weekly reset today. Let’s see what the new week brings.

Update: There were minor issues during the Weekly Reset. The modifiers and the raid challenge were displayed incorrectly in-game. Some Guardians even ended up in different Nightfall strikes. Everything should be back to normal now.

Nightfall Strike in Destiny from June 28 is The Immortal Spirit

The Nightfall strike this week is the Immortal Spirit. This was once PlayStation-exclusive.

Modifiers are:

• Epic: Enemies are well-armored, highly aggressive, and appear in large numbers.
• Grounded: You take more damage when you are in the air.
• Puzzle Game: Enemy shields are resistant to mismatched elemental damage.
• Catapult: Grenade charge speed is increased.
• Trickle: Ability recharge is significantly slower.

In the heroic strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Voidburn, Fresh Troops, and Catapult.

Eris Morn and the Future War Cult want Worm Spore.

The Dead Orbit wants Ghost Flower.

The New Monarchy is pleased with Helium Filaments.

What awaits in the challenge of the Elders

In the Prison, the modifiers are: Berserk and Juggler.

Bonus points are available for super kills.

Your opponents will be Noru’usk, Servant of Oryx, Sylok, and the Pilot Servitor.

The King’s Fall Raid Challenge

The Challenge Mode boss last week was the War Priest, so this week it’s the grumpy ogre Golgoroth.
