In Destiny, today, January 17th, is the “Weekly Reset”, the weekly reset of activities. What is there to do this week?
Today, there is a lot happening in Destiny:
- The weekly reset takes place at 10 AM, during which there will be a fresh Nightfall strike, new artifacts, a change in the raid challenge, and other resets.
- The January Iron Banner starts at 7 PM: The start date of this monthly PvP event has been fervently discussed over the past weeks. Today is the day.
- Shortly before the Iron Banner, a patch will be released. You must download and install it on PS4 and Xbox One before you can dive into the Iron Banner. Detailed info about the patch can be found here.

Nightfall on January 17th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week, the Nightfall is The Darkblade. Defeat the Darkblade!
The modifiers are:
- Epic
- Arc Burn
- Specialist: Special weapon damage is favored.
- Juggler: No ammo drops for the equipped weapon.
- Aerial Support: You deal more damage while in the air.
In the heroic SIVA crisis strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Arc Burn, Specialist, Exposed.
The “Iron Lord” artifacts this week
You can obtain these three artifacts with these attributes from Tyra Karn this week:
- Skorris’ Relic – 57 Strength
- Radegast’s Relic – 31 Intellect, 34 Strength
- Gheleon’s Relic – 35 Discipline, 36 Strength

The raid challenge on January 17th
