For today’s Valentine’s Day, Bungie is gifting Guardians a weapon balance patch. This goes live tonight around 7 PM. We have summarized all the information in this article about Update 2.5.0.2 .
The Valentine’s Day event from last year, the Crimson Days, will not take place this year, by the way. Bungie announced this weeks ago. Instead, a content update will come in spring, about which very little is currently known – namely nothing.
Now let’s look at what the new week brings. It’s the weekly reset.
Nightfall on February 14th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week the Nightfall is Brothers in Arms.
The modifiers are:
- Epic
- Small Arms: Primary weapon damage is favored.
- Fresh Troops: Some enemies come with reinforcements.
- Grounded: Enemy shields are resistant to unequal elemental damage.
- Aerial: You deal more damage while in the air.
In the heroic SIVA Crisis strike playlist the modifiers are Heroic, Solar Infusion, Specialist, Exposed.
The “Iron Lord” artifacts for the reset
Tyra Karn awaits you in the Iron Temple with a selection of “Iron Lord” artifacts. This week she has the following:
- Jolder’s Remembrance – 34 Intelligence, 30 Strength
- Silimar’s Remembrance – 30 Discipline, 32 Strength
- Skorr’s Remembrance – 35 Intelligence, 50 Discipline

Raid Challenge on February 14th
The raid “Wrath of the Machine” features two bosses that alternate weekly to challenge the Guardians. This time it is again the final boss: Aksis is his name. How you must defeat Aksis to get the extra loot, you can read here.
Lord Shaxx wants to see your skills in Rift matches. Commander Zavala has the bounties Strike Elite, Sunrise, and Cleanup (150 enemy kills with the fireteam per strike).
