Destiny: Twilight Strike and Iron Banner on 19.7. – What the new week brings

In the MMO shooter Destiny the July Iron Banner starts today on July 19th and a new week begins. All important information can be found at Mein MMO.

There’s still a month to go until Gamescom in Cologne. There are indications that we can expect a flood of information about “Rise of Iron,” the Fall expansion for Destiny. Currently, it’s just trickling in, and the dams are holding. Also, tomorrow there will be a live stream about the Cosmodrome. We will report extensively on this, just as on everything in Destiny.

Also important: This evening at 7:00 PM the July Iron Banner in Destiny starts. What challenges will Destiny keep us busy with until then?

The Nightfall Strike on July 19th is the S.A.B.E.R Strike

Fallen S.A.B.E.R Strike is on this week, which is good home cooking.

Modifiers include:

• Solar Engulfing – Solar damage is significantly increased
• Juggler – No ammunition drops for the weapon the Guardians are currently equipped with. They must “juggle” between weapons.
• Airborne – Guardians deal more damage in the air.
• Catapult – Grenades are available faster.

Modifiers for the heroic strike playlist are: Brawler (Guardians deal increased melee damage), Exposure (shields are reinforced but do not regenerate), Airborne (more damage dealt for Guardians in the air).

These items are wanted by the faction vendors

Eris Morn, the Good, and the Future War Cult, the Bad, both want Worm Spore.

Dead Orbit is looking for Spirit Bloom this week.

The New Monarchy likes you more if you bring them Spinmetal.

What to expect in the Elders’ Challenge

In the Prison of Elders, on hard mode, “Noru’usk”; Servants of Oryx (a Cabal). Keksis, the Betrayed, a Fallen. And Sylok the Defiler, who belongs to the Hive.

Modifiers are: Juggler and Exposure – Guardians have reinforced shields, but they do not regenerate.

This week, bonus points are awarded for melee kills.

Golgoroth in the King’s Fall Challenge Mode
