Destiny: Dawnstrike on 9.8. – “RoI” pre-orders start on Xbox One

In Destiny, on August 9th, the weekly reset occurs. All Guardians will be provided with new challenges. Additionally, pre-orders for “The Rise of Iron” are now available on Xbox One.

As announced by Bungie via Twitter, “Rise of Iron” can now be pre-ordered on PS4 and Xbox One. While this has been possible on Sony’s console for several weeks, Xbox One users have been wondering for some time when it’s their turn. According to Bungie, that is now the case.

As pre-order bonuses, you will receive “The Iron Gjallarhorn” and “The Iron Gjallarwing Sparrow” on both PS4 and Xbox One. You will obtain the exotic rocket launcher as a reward from an exclusive quest. Both items will of course be available only with “The Rise of Iron”.

If the pre-order bonuses are not listed in the store and you pre-order, you will still receive them – regardless of your platform and the country you live in. Bungie also communicated this.

Nightfall in Destiny starting August 9th against Taniks

This week, the Nightfall is the Shadow Thief. Defeat Taniks.

Modifiers are:

• Epic
• Arc Burn
• Unstoppable: Damage from Guardian melee is significantly increased.
• Grounded: You take more damage while you are in the air.
• Trickle: Charging of abilities is significantly slower.

In the heroic strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Small Arms, Exposed, and Airborne.

Eris Morn and the Dead Orbit want worm spores.

In the Elders’ Challenge, here’s what awaits you

Also this week, randomness decides what you will have to do. You will receive bonus points for grenade kills. Solar Burn and Trickle are the modifiers.

The enemies are the Overmind Minotaur, Sylok the Desecrated, and Pilot Servitor.
