In Destiny today, on January 3rd, is the weekly reset. What time does the Dawning end?
The three-week Winter event “The Dawning” comes to an end today. Since December 13th, you could race in SRL and go on a quest for the Icebreaker in Strike scoring. The Strike scoring stays, but the SRL says goodbye. The Sparrow racing will now be added to the private matches.
The Dawning ends at 10 AM our time with the weekly reset. From then on, you will not be able to complete SRL bounties and earn rewards from Amanda Holliday.

Dawning on January 3rd on PS4 and Xbox One
This week, the Shadow Thief is the Nightfall. Defeat Taniks!
The modifiers are:
- Epic
- Specialist: Special weapon damage is favored.
- Chaff: Player radar is disabled.
- Puzzle: Enemy shields are resistant to mismatched elemental damage.
- Airborne: You deal more damage while airborne.
In the heroic SIVA Crisis Strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Suspended, Airborne, Catapult.
The “Iron Lord” artifacts this week
Tyra Karn is waiting patiently in the Iron Temple for you. She brings weekly “Iron Lord” artifacts that you should activate at the statues. Once you have all the artifacts in your possession, you will receive a trophy that has been bugged for a long time. This time, she has the following artifacts in stock:
- Jolder’s Remembrance – 61 Strength
- Silimar’s Remembrance – 31 Discipline, 34 Strength
- Skorri’s Remembrance – 58 Discipline
