In the MMO shooter Destiny the new week brings fresh challenges for the Guardians on May 17.

When does Destiny continue?

The somewhat awkward phase with the change of netcode should now be overcome, and there are still a few weeks until E3 in Los Angeles, where the fall expansion for Destiny is expected to be announced. The Sony press conference, where there might be news about the new Destiny, will take place on June 14 at 3 AM. The chances of learning something new about Destiny are likely to be high at that hour.

But that is still a long way off; it will be in almost 4 resets: time for a regular week in Destiny.

Nightfall strike starting from May 17 is the Shield Brothers

Bungie.net had it wrong for a moment: it is not Winter’s Run again, the Nightfall is “Shield Brothers” on Saturn.

Modifiers are:

• Arc Burn – Arc damage is increased.
• Juggler – Enemies do not drop ammo for the weapon currently equipped.
• Shielded – More enemies have shields than usual.
• Catapult – Grenade cooldown is reduced.

This week, the Reputation factions of Destiny want

• Eris Morn and the Dead Orbit want Worm Spore this week.
• The Future War Cult is after Helium Filaments.
• The New Monarchy is looking for Relic Iron.

The modifiers are Juggler and Fresh Troops. Bonus points are awarded for precision kills.

This time the trio of choice: Wretched Knight (Hive), Keksis the Betrayed (Fallen), Overmind Minotaur (Vex).
