Today, on September 13th, a new week begins in Destiny. The weekly reset is taking place. Here’s what you need to do now.
The week before the launch of “Rise of Iron” is upon us. In exactly 7 days, you can dive into the new challenges and rise to the Iron Lord. However, you can already experience new content right now.
Last week, update 2.4.0 went live and already brought significant changes, including to weapon balance. Additionally, the Trespasser, the new exotic pistol, is already in the game. In this article, we have presented a whole list of updates that you can already find in Destiny.
Moreover, recent hints suggest that private matches might come before the launch of “The Dawning of the Iron Lords”. It seems there is plenty to do even before September 20th.
But first, let’s see what fresh tasks the weekly reset brings.
Nightfall strike in Destiny starting September 13th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week, it’s off to the Dust Palace. The Psion Flayers are waiting for you.
The modifiers are:
- Epic
- Voidburn
- Unstoppable: Damage from Guardian melee attacks is increased.
- Grounded: You take more damage while in the air.
- Trickle: Ability recharge is significantly slower.
In the heroic strike playlist, Heroic, Solarburn, Berserk, and Sidearms are active.
These collectible items are wanted by the factions
Eris Morn and the Future War Cult want Worm Spore.
The Dead Orbit and the New Monarchy demand Ghost Flowers.
What to do in the Elder’s challenge
Bonus points are awarded for grenade kills. The modifiers are Catapult and Juggler.
You will face Keksis, the Rebel Spirit and Noru’usk, Servant of Oryx.
Last week it was Oryx’s turn, so this week you can expect the War Priest. He will greet you for the challenge. You can find out how to defeat this boss to make him drop extra loot here.
Update: All challenges are active! You will face the War Priest, Golgoroth and Oryx.
Oryx’s Court Tier 3
With an antiquated round, you summon Balwur. However, reports are mounting that all enemies rotate here as well. Kagoor and Thalnok can also appear.
Note: Private matches are not yet available in the Crucible.
