In the MMO shooter Destiny there is a new rotation on Tuesday, August 11th, and a patch might also be coming.
It seems like there could be the patch today on the 11th, which is supposed to bring the “Husk of the Pit” back into the game. Other changes are also expected. This could lead to maintenance tonight. However, there are no exact details yet. Currently, it is running under “If everything goes well.”

Weekly Nightfall Strike against Aksor
Archon Priest Aksor is up again. This is now the third time in four weeks. The modifiers are Solar Burn, Sidearms, and Arc Burn. Fatebringer seems to be a good choice.
Heroic Weekly against Omnigul
Omnigul, about whom not even Bungie knows her stance on Crota, is active. The modifier is Brawler, Guardians deal increased melee damage.

Say “Hello” to Qodron in the 32 Prison

- Vex/Jump – Grenades have a significantly lower cooldown
- Vex – Void Burn
- Fallen/Brawler – Guardians deal increased melee damage

Kaliks Reborn graces us with his presence

- Cabal/Specialist – Special weapon damage doubled
- Fallen/Switch – Enemies deal increased melee damage
- Fallen/Airborne – Players deal more damage when in the air
- Fallen/Exposure – Guardians’ shields are increased, but do not regenerate
- Fallen/Grounded – Players take more damage when in the air
What can Skolas do this time?
In the 35 Prison of Elders is once again the Kell of Kells, Skolas, imprisoned.
This week, these modifiers are active: Catapult and Angry.
- Hive – Exposure/Brawler – Guardians’ shields are stronger, do not regenerate/Melee damage of Guardians is increased
- Vex – Grounded/Airborne – Guardians deal more damage while in the air, but also take more
- Cabal – Catapult/Arc Burn – grenade cooldown is reduced, Arc damage significantly increased, also for the enemies
- Fallen – Specialist/Juggler – Special weapons deal double damage, enemies do not drop ammunition for the weapon they were defeated with
- Fallen – Chill/Sidearms – Abilities have an increased cooldown, damage dealt with primary weapons is increased
What does Variks have this week?
Variks is selling a machine gun and gloves this week.
The machine gun “Chains of Orbiks-Fel” comes with Void damage, Perfect Balance, and has a chance to stun Fallen Captains.
The three gloves from Variks have the following stats in addition to 42 Light:
- for Titans 56 INT, 53 STR
- for Warlocks 100 INT
- for Hunters 53 DIS, 57 STR
All three pairs of gloves have the following perks: A chance to generate Orbs of Light when defeating Fallen in melee, increased grenade range, faster reload speed for special weapons.
