In Destiny, the Guardians are already eagerly trying to master the new raid “Wrath of the Machine” with less than the required six players. Successfully.
In the MMO shooter Destiny, the raids are the most extensive and challenging PvE challenges designed for six players. But does it really have to be six players to join the fight? No! With skill and various “tricks,” the mechanics can also be handled with fewer Guardians, and with the necessary Light level and tremendous skills, the enemy hordes can also be controlled.
A prominent example is the Crota raid, which in the past was easily mastered solo by a multitude of players. Can this also be done in the new raid “Wrath of the Machine,” which came with “Rise of Iron”?
This question currently ignites the ambition of some Guardians and motivates them to peak performances. Reports of a solo run have not yet reached us, but there are already impressive performances found online.
Wrath of the Machine completed with a three-man team
On the YouTube channel humbly named “The Legend Himself,” two videos have appeared showcasing two masterpieces.
Just yesterday, the strike team with players xDom, Epicookiez, and sc Slayerage managed to master the entire raid as a trio. The Guardians had Light levels of 375, 382, and 380. In total, they took 3.5 hours for this success. Particularly impressive is that they achieved this just after not even 24 hours from the raid’s launch.
An edited and significantly shortened version of this run has been posted on YouTube. You can watch it here:
Aksis outsmarted by two Guardians
Just a few hours ago, the same YouTuber uploaded the following video. In it, they defeat Aksis, the Archon Primus, together. This is not easy, however, and requires, as the YouTuber states, a lot of practice. You can find the video here:
