In the MMO shooter Destiny today, 18 new purchasable emotes, gestures, are coming to the game. They have already been made public.
Bungie sent previews of the emotes to various YouTubers yesterday. In such situations, they like to spread their love. They give different emotes to everyone so that the community can discover the people.
It is already possible to view the 18 different emotes (gestures). Among them are quite theatrical items, but there are also things like the popular “Carlton”, who was the geeky son from “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, whose way of dancing actually became legendary. Who would have thought?
The emotes will be the first new “items” in Tess Everis’ cash shop. The real money currency Silver is needed to purchase these emotes. However, players are expected to start with some free Silver, enough to buy one or two emotes. The further details about the whole action are still unknown at this moment. A patch for Destiny is supposed to come out this evening. Then we will likely know more.
