Tomorrow, on September 9th, the game series Destiny turns ten years old. Bungie promises a celebration and information about the future of the franchise. With Destiny 2 – codename Frontiers, it is set to continue soon.
What is planned for the 10th birthday? Bungie says they will celebrate the 10th birthday of Destiny in Destiny 2 “casually and lightly”. In a blog post on Monday, September 9th, at 5 PM German time, they will announce the details.
It is already announced that there will be some things for the 10th birthday:
- Free legendary armor
- A fun title
- Some Bungie rewards

What do we learn about the future? Tomorrow at 5 PM there will be a blog where Game Director Tyson Green and Narrative Director Alison Lührs will explain how Destiny 2: Codename Frontiers will continue.
The plan is to keep players regularly informed about the future of Destiny.
They are already warning: The updates might still be a bit raw – they are still “early in development”.
