In Destiny , there are some scams going around on eBay. Codes for shaders, emblems, and grimoire cards are being sold for real money, which are available for free.
At the launch, some tried to make money off of it, and now they’re back taking advantage of the Christmas freshlings .
As the saying goes among scammers: “A fool wakes up every day, you just have to find him.” So you don’t belong to that group: Some clever folks on eBay are selling “codes” that promise super things for Destiny: grimoire cards, shaders, and even emblems. They claim these are “pre-order codes” or “DLC codes” or something like that.
The codes work too. In that sense, it’s not a scam; it’s just that: the codes are free and accessible to everyone. They were available everywhere as a promotional offer at launch, and they still work now. Simply enter them on this page and you’re good to go. Buying these things on eBay is like paying for the right to breathe the air around you. There’s probably only one Destiny code that came with Advanced Warfare and a special shader that actually has some value.
