In the MMO shooter Destiny, more maps are being added to the Crucible mode “Control.”
As the “Competitive Multiplayer Lead Designer” Lars Bakken reports via Twitter, future Control matches will be playable on more maps. Five maps are being added back to the playlist of this mode.
These maps are being added to “Control” in Destiny
Lars Bakken apologizes for not mentioning this change in the last livestream for the April update. Therefore, he is providing this news now via Twitter. The following five maps can be played again in “Control”:
- Asylum
- Delphi Base
- The Anomaly
- The Burning Shrine
- The Cauldron
Users are reacting differently to this announcement. Some are pleased that their “favorite map” is finally playable in Control, while others see this step as rehashing old content, which is intended to give the impression of bringing more variety to the game.
Note: While these five maps are being added, three of the existing ones are being removed. They are:
- Bastion
- Skyshock
- First Light
No new maps for the Crucible are coming with the upcoming April update.
