Destiny Guide: Mit dem Schneeball zu 335 Licht und 3 andere Tipps zum April-Update

In Destiny, the first week after the April update is already coming to an end. We summarize four tips that can help you get more out of this update.

The PlanetDestiny website points out some tips and hints that Guardians can consider since the April update. These are tricks on how to efficiently level up your Power, farm Exotics, and much more.

Farming Exotics in the Elder’s Challenge

The Elder’s Challenge is a new endgame content, through which Variks of the House of Judgment guides you. You will receive weekly rewards for completion.

Even if the points in the Elder’s Challenge have already been collected, it is still worth traversing the prison to grab some sweet loot. You don’t have to worry about scores anymore; just focus on taking down the bosses as quickly as possible.

This way you can quickly obtain many legendary and exotic drops with high Power levels, such as the 3 exotic weapons from the prison, class items, and ghosts.

Hidden Room in the “Wretched Chalice” Strike

This week, the new Malok Strike is up as the Nightfall. If you are having difficulties with this new challenge, you can visit a hidden room that is considered a “safe room”.

When you start the fight with Malok in the Shrine of Oryx, you will find four doors in the central area. None of these can be opened with the Ghost. Go to the door without a “Static Effect” and wait a little, as that is where the “safe room” is located. The following video will make it easier for you to find it:

Once Malok calls for reinforcements for the first time, that door opens and a group of thralls rushes out. This is your chance to slip in quickly. From this room, you have a good overview of the battle area and it serves as a safe spot where you can stay.

However, you will not regenerate health in some parts of the room, and you cannot open the doors from the outside. As long as at least one person remains in this room, they can open the doors for other Guardians as many times as needed.

Kill Majors and Ultras for the Grimoire

Until now, kills of Major and Ultra enemies did not count towards the Grimoire. To reach the required number of kills, you could only take down Ogres or Hydras that did not have a Major or Ultra status. Now, Bungie has fixed this issue so you can now also focus on these enemies to collect Grimoire.

If you want to defeat Ogres, you can still go to Oryx’s Tier 3 this week: Here, you can kill the summoned Ogres until time runs out. For Hydra kills, you can go to the original Archon Priest strike: There, you will find many Hydras.

Quickly Reach Power Level 335 with the Oryx Raid

With the April update, items with the maximum Power level of 335 can also drop in the King’s Fall raid. It’s time to activate your clan and give Oryx a run for his money. With the following trick, you can quickly get one of your characters close to 335:

• For this, you need three characters that are strong enough to complete the raid. Complete the raid (or at least the challenge mode) with a character that is not your “main Guardian” (i.e., not the one that should be brought close to 335).

• 

  Now transfer the newly obtained items with increased Power level to your third Guardian and infuse them. Complete the raid (or at least the challenge mode) with this boosted Guardian, grab even better items, and transfer them to your main character.
• You can now infuse these high Power items at your first Guardian – since the update, there are no losses when infusing – and complete the raid a third time. Now you should receive drops with a Power level close to the maximum.
