In Destiny 2, Xur arrives today. Where is the Agent of the Nine and what Exotics does he have on offer? Here are his location and inventory on September 28th, 2018.
Currently, we are in the final curse phase of the Dreaming City. This started on September 25th and ends with the next weekly reset on October 2nd. Bungie confirmed that the endgame zone has a 3-week cycle – meaning the evolution of the Dreaming City will likely restart next week.
In the current final curse phase, there are some new features:
- You can receive the exotic bow “Wishender”,
- You can obtain the exotic hand cannon “Dienstvergehen”,
- You can play the new Ascendant challenge
- and you can also get the third seed of light without a raid.
Additionally, you can march to Xur starting today. Let’s see together what the shaggy Agent of the Nine brings.

In previous Forsaken weeks, Xur disappointed the Guardians by only bringing old Exotics.
When does Xur arrive today? – The times
Xur time: For four years, Xur has appeared every Friday. This includes Destiny 2 Forsaken. The time is at 7 PM.
When does Xur disappear? The Agent of the Nine packs his things on Tuesday, October 2nd at 7 PM, and vanishes, so he can return next Friday.
Where is Xur? You can find him at this location today
Xur’s location: He is in the Tower near the Dead Orbit. This is at the back in the Tower hangar on the stairs. Esoterickk will lead you there:

Weapon: Workhorse – Automatic rifle for 29 Legendary shards
Hunter: Aeon Swift – Gauntlets for 23 Legendary shards

- Shotguns gain bonus reserves when you pick up ammo or increased drop chance for heavy ammo on a kill
Titan: Heart of Inmost Light – Chest armor for 23 Legendary shards

Additionally, he has a Fate Engram on offer. It costs 97 legendary shards and contains one of the old Exotics that you do not yet possess. The challenge card “Five of Swords” can also be picked up.
