Endgame PvP returns this weekend in the Trials. After that, the sweaty mode will take a week break because Lord Saladin is back with his Iron Banner. This means there will be no Trials the coming weekend.
What are the Trials in Destiny 2?
The Trials of Osiris are an endgame PvP activity and they take place every weekend. There is only one exception, which is when the Iron Banner event is active. Just like last week. Bungie will once again open the inventory of the 14th Saint this weekend with fresh Trials Passes as well as loot streams so that you can increase your glory in the PvP endgame.
Which map is in play this week? Unlike in regular PvP, where maps rotate, there is only one fixed map that is played each weekend in Guardian vs. Guardian endgame.

This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris have a reputation rank system. Your top loot rewards from the PvP matches are currently available for:
- Seven wins
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run, which takes you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, you can also expect a very special weapon at the Lighthouse, which you will receive for your flawless run, i.e. 7 wins, in its master version. You can earn the weapon until the upcoming Tuesday, January 24, at 6:00 PM.
As a reward, you will always receive an Adept weapon if you make it safely to the Lighthouse.

All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Speed Loader” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last remaining member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
You can focus your Trials engrams at the 14th Saint on your desired weapon. On top of that, there are upgrade prisms and ascendant shards. Keep in mind that your reward will increase even further once you have a full pass – even if you lost one or two games.
When do the Trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begin today, January 27, 2023, at 6:00 PM and end with the weekly reset on January 31, 2023, at 6:00 PM.
