Even Xur, the Exo-merchant from Destiny 2, has a tingle in his fingers, as the Traveler has moved on and the future of the Guardians is uncertain. Nevertheless, this won’t stop him from coming back to the Last City one more time. This is his current offer, which MeinMMO presents to you in more detail.
What happened this week in Destiny 2? In the current Season 19, it has been quiet after the emotional end of the Season of the Seraph. The Guardians know something is brewing on the horizon, and it doesn’t seem to bode well.
There are numerous new pieces of information from Bungie regarding Lightfall. Especially for new players, the entry should be made easier and more understandable.
- Additionally, there were announcements about colorful cheaters looking for a collaboration
- Juicy power boost for many high-level activities of Destiny 2, making everything harder
- An old but really good DLC with Savathun the Witch Queen has gone on sale and can currently even be played for free
Many Guardians already know very well what to expect in Season 20 and Lightfall. But still, it’s easy to lose track of things with the multitude of information and details from different sources. That’s why MeinMMO has summarized all the important points compactly for you just before the launch of Lightfall on February 28, 2023.
Before we head into the weekend, let’s check in with Xur again to see if he can offer some Exo goodies.
All info about Xur on February 24, 2023 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
When does Xur come? As a merchant for rare exotic goods in Destiny 2, Xur visits the universe every Friday at 6 PM. To shop with him, you just need some in-game currency to fill the gaps in your collection.
Where is Xur? This is his location for the weekend
Xur’s position: Although Xur only uses a few location positions on the destinations, no Guardian knows before 6 PM where he will land.
Xur’s inventory from February 24 – 27 – All Exotics at a glance
What does Xur have on offer? Even just before Lightfall, Xur won’t tire of doing business. But unlike Spider, who often has crooked deals in mind, Xur supplies you with good goods at reasonable prices. The nice “I am the messenger of the Nine” chat comes free of charge.

Currently, he has these two weapons on offer:
- The exotic hand cannon “Fatebringer” (Beyond Light DLC) with the perk “Fixer’s Touch”
- The exotic scout rifle “Succession of the dead” (Beyond Light DLC) with the perk “Murderous Wind”
Trials of Osiris from February 24 – 27 – Map, Weapons, and Information
Due to the Lightfall preload schedule, the Trials will be shorter this time. Keep in mind that you have only this weekend left if you’re missing a weapon or want to snag some loot from the Trials again.
What are the Trials or “Trials of Osiris” in Destiny 2?
The Trials of Osiris are an endgame PvP activity that takes place every weekend. There is only one exception, which is when the Iron Banner event is active. Just like last week. Bungie will once again have the inventory of the 14th Saint with fresh Trials passes and loot streams available for you to increase your glory in the PvP endgame.

Which map is up this week? Unlike in normal PvP, where the maps rotate, in the Guardian-versus-Guardian endgame, there is only one fixed map played each weekend.

If you’re interested in playing the Trials in a solid team, MeinMMO recommends the Callout Maps via Warmind. This way, you can describe to your strike team where the opponents are currently located on the map, which provides useful information for the entire team.
How to get your loot: The Trials of Osiris have a reputation rank system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently available for:
- Seven victories
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run that leads you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, you can expect a special weapon at the Lighthouse as a Master version for your flawless run, i.e., 7 victories. You can earn the weapon until the upcoming Monday, February 27, at 6 PM.
As a reward, you will always receive an Adept weapon if you make it safely to the Lighthouse.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Haste” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last living member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
You can target your Trials engrams at your desired weapon with the 14th Saint. Additionally, you will get enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Keep in mind that your rewards further increase once you have a complete pass—even if you lost one or two games.
When do the Trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begin today, February 24, 2023, at 6 PM and end with the Lightfall downtime on February 27, 2023, at 6 PM.
What are you playing on the last weekend before Lightfall? Are you more comfortably chilling in other games, or do you still have something to finish in Bungie’s loot shooter? Let us know directly in the comments.
