This weekend, players can find out in Destiny 2 whether Xur has been spared by the power-hungry Exotic “Telesto”. He will reopen his trade so you can shop for Exotics and legendary items at a good price. MeinMMO tells you where to find him and what his offerings look like. Count your Glimmer.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? At the beginning of the week, Bungie brought the advance nerfs for Lorentz Driver and Arbalest online. These were necessary, because both weapons were far too dominant in PvP. In the meantime, players have conducted extensive tests and determined: The nerfs were fine, but maybe not strict enough. The upcoming Trials weekend will show how the changes affect the PvP endgame.
Additionally, since Tuesday, the power-hungry Exotic “Telesto” has caused quite a stir. Normally, as Bungie itself admitted in the weekly blog, problems with Telesto should be swept under the rug and waited for a permanent solution. However, the Guardians sensed a new secret behind the events and immediately set out to investigate.
On Thursday evening, reality struck for all hopeful Guardians:
There are neither puzzles to solve nor secrets to reveal. Whatever the machine says – We have the situation fully under control and there is no reason to panic.
wrote Bungie in the Telesto of the Week from 11/10/2022
Overall, it has become quieter in Destiny 2 towards the end of the season, and the franchise is thus struggling with declining player numbers.
All info on Xur on November 11, 2022 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia
When does Xur come? The exotic merchant visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 6 PM. Anyone who still has gaps in their Exotic collection expects him then, because he is the easiest way to get Exotics. It only costs you a one-way ticket and some materials as payment.
Where is Xur? This is his warehouse for the weekend
Xur’s location: Every week, Xur can be found at a different location. So you never know exactly where you will encounter him.

Currently, he has these two weapons available:

- The exotic scout rifle “Tale of a Dead Man” (Beyond Light) with the perk “Moving Target”
The cost of the weapons: For these two Exotics, the costs are 1 Ascendant Shard each, 1 Exotic Engram, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary Shards.
Xur always has with him: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to obtain an exotic code.
Trials of Osiris on 11/11 – 11/15 – Map, Weapons, and Info
The Trials of Osiris is an endgame PvP activity that takes place every weekend. There is only one exception, which is when the Iron Banner event is active. Otherwise, Bungie fills the inventory of the 14th Saint with new Trials passes and loot every weekend, so you can increase your glory in the PvP endgame.
Which map is on this week? The so-called PvP trials always take place on a fixed map. Normally, this is random. However, Bungie gave Guardians another vote. They could choose the new map that is now being added to the Trials map rotation. The voting was done through registration with Bungie via email.
If you’re interested in playing the Trials in a fixed team, MeinMMO recommends the Callout Maps via Warmind. This way, you can well describe to your fireteam where the enemies are located on the map, which is useful information for the entire team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris have a reputation ranking system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently available for:
- Seven victories
- 50 rounds
- as well as the notorious flawless run that takes you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Each week, a very special weapon awaits you at the Lighthouse that you receive for your flawless run, meaning 7 victories, as a master version. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday, November 15, at 6 PM.
As a reward, you will always get an Adept weapon if you safely make it to the Lighthouse.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Haste” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last surviving member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
You can focus your Trials Engrams at the 14th Saint on your desired weapon. On top, there are upgrade prisms and Ascendant Shards. Remember that your reward increases even more once you have a complete pass – even if you’ve lost one or two games.
When do the Trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begin today, November 11 at 6 PM and end with the Weekly Reset on November 15 at 6 PM.
Are you looking forward to this little change in the Trials of Osiris? Or would you have preferred the map “Anomaly”? Feel free to leave us your comment here on MeinMMO.
