Today is Friday and you know what that means for Destiny 2: Xur, the handsome vendor from another world, is visiting the Guardians again to bless them with rarities. What those are and whether they are worth it, you will find out here on MeinMMO.
What happened this week in Destiny 2? This week emotions in Destiny 2 swung dramatically back and forth. The possibly strongest character and leader of the Vanguard, Commander Zavala, has given us insights into his former self. Desperate moments clinging to a normal life in a broken world full of dangers broke this man, and no one knew it.
Additionally, in the Hotfix 4.1.0.2, the powerful Titan melee attack of the Solar class was nerfed, but how devastating was the fix and is it noticeable? We will show you!
Furthermore, Guardians can finally again venture into the Trials of Osiris, as opposed to Lord Saladin’s Rift mode, the Guardians in the mode of the 14th Saint can expect new weapons and armor, a Ghost shell, and a Sparrow. We have included the monkey-themed armor as an image for you.

Trials of Osiris from June 10 to June 14 – Map, Weapons, and Info
Which map is on the agenda this week? Every weekend you play only on a fixed map. We will update you with the map as soon as it is known. This week Burnout on Mercury is on the agenda.
If you are interested in playing the Trials as a team, MeinMMO recommends the callout maps via Warmind. This way you can effectively inform your team where the enemies are on the map, which are useful information for the whole team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a rank system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently available for:
- Seven victories
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run, which leads you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, you can also expect a special weapon at the Lighthouse, which you receive for your flawless run, meaning 7 victories, as a master version. This week, the Void scout rifle “Aisha’s Embrace” is in line. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday at 7 PM.
All trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Eagerness” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last surviving member of your fireteam or are fighting solo.
Once you have received your desired weapon, you can focus your Trials engrams on your desired weapon at the 14th Saint. On top of that, there are enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Keep in mind that your rewards increase even further when you have a complete pass – even if you have lost one or two games.
When do the Trials start? The Trials (Trials of Osiris) start this Friday at the daily reset at 7:00 PM.
What do you think of Xur’s inventory at the moment? Do you now have reasons to finally visit the black market vendor again, or is it too cumbersome for you and you’d rather ignore the good guy? Let us know in the comments!
