Today, on October 4th, we have a visit from Xur – for the first time in Year 3 of Destiny 2. Where is Xur this time and what do the exotic items in his offer look like? Everything about Xur’s location and inventory on the first Shadowkeep weekend.
There’s a lot happening in Destiny 2: Currently, Guardians in Destiny 2 are quite busy:
- After a 24-hour mammoth maintenance and the installation of Update 2.6.0.1, the highly anticipated Shadowkeep expansion was released on October 1st.
- At the same time, the extensive Free-to-Play version Destiny 2: New Light was launched.
While some are just taking their first steps as Guardians in Destiny 2, others are busy with the story or further new content from Shadowkeep, such as “Nightfall: The Ordeal”. Others are leveling up their Guardians at the last minute to be ready for the new raid “Garden of Salvation” on October 5th.
Many are also eagerly waiting for Xur, who graces us with his first visit in Year 3 today.

This is Xur’s time: Even with Shadowkeep, nothing has changed regarding Xur’s timing. As usual, the mysterious exotic vendor arrives on Friday at exactly 7:00 PM.
Until the next weekly reset on October 8th, you then have time to stock up on his items. After that, Xur packs up all his stuff and disappears for a while.
