In Destiny 2 today, September 24th, is the Weekly Reset. The last week of Year 2 begins. Then Shadowkeep heralds the third year of Destiny 2. What does the week bring?
This is the last content of Year 2: When the autumn expansion Shadowkeep launches on October 1st, Season 7 and Year 2 will end simultaneously. The Season 7 roadmap includes these contents for the last Year 2 week, starting today, September 24th:
- Witch’s Cauldron – in this PvP mode, you can throw around your super attacks
- Bravery Boost – you earn more bravery points in PvP
- Ruthlessness Boost – in Gambit, you earn more points
Bungie shows generosity in the end, granting some points boosts so you can still reach certain seasonal objectives, and lets you celebrate your light in the Witch’s Cauldron.
In addition, the weekly reset occurs, giving you these fresh activities.
Nightfall Strikes on September 24th – PS4, PC, Xbox One
These are the Nightfalls this week:
- The Terminus of Insight
- The Twisted Column
- Will of the Thousands
Through the Nightfall strikes, you can get strike-exclusive loot. You can find all Nightfall-exclusive rewards here.
You get powerful loot by successfully completing a Nightfall strike and mastering a Nightfall with at least 100,000 points. To accomplish this, you need to activate modifiers on Xur’s challenge map that increase the points multiplier.
Modifiers in Vanguard Strikes and Story Missions
These modifiers are active in the Vanguard content:
- Arc Singe
- Blackout (Enemy melee attacks are stronger and radar is disabled)
- Grenadier (Grenade abilities deal more damage and recharge faster)
The Singe modifier is active all week, while the other effects rotate daily.
For the weekly powerful loot, you can complete 3 heroic story missions and 3 heroic strikes with the focus element corresponding to the singe element.
On the agenda in Crucible, Reckoning, and Gambit
These PvP modes await you in the Crucible:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Witch’s Cauldron
- Rumble
- Private Match
The 2 modifiers of Reckoning: Since last week, only two modifiers are active in Reckoning, as negative modifiers have been removed:
- Arc Singe
- Heavyweight (Power weapons deal more damage and provide more ammo)
For powerful loot:
- complete 5 Crucible matches
- complete 3 Gambit matches
- complete 4 Gambit Prime matches
- successfully complete Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
The bounty from the Drifter for powerful loot: “In the Mill” – you must collect points by defeating enemies and guardians and turning in particles.
The loot in Escalation Protocol
This weapon is available this week: In Escalation Protocol, you can earn the legendary sniper rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1.
Flashpoint, Spider, Petra, Werner
The Flashpoint is on Mars this week. Complete this along with the associated adventure to receive 2 powerful rewards.
Ikora Rey rewards the completion of 20 any bounties in the week with a powerful reward.
Petra Venj awaits you starting today in the 1st curse week. If you complete Petra’s mission, the Ascendant Challenge, as well as a total of 8 of her daily bounties, you will receive powerful loot for each of these tasks. The 2nd Ascendant Challenge is active.
At Spider, you should hunt the Blood Splitter.
Hawthorne wants you to collect 5,000 Clan XP. Additionally, she has the bounties Strength of Memory, “All for One, One for All” and Perfect Victory.
At Werner, there are the bounties Generosity, Trial of Combat, Embrace of the Emperor and Valued Treasures.
The highlights in Eververse against Glimmer:
- The emote “But You”
- The exotic ship “Bayles Aerodyn”
- The ornament for the Geomag Stabilizers
