The weekly reset in Destiny 2 is today, September 19. The weekly reset brings a new Nightfall strike, a fresh Flashpoint, and additional weekly milestones.
Today, Tuesday marks the second weekly reset in the history of Destiny 2. For the first time, it not only brings new activities but also ends “events” that have been running in recent days:
- So Xur is heading home
- and the Trials of the Nine should also come to an end. (Update: Still displaying! The trials will likely stay live the whole week.)
The reset occurs at 11 AM our time.
These are the activities that receive fresh rewards on Tuesdays:
- Nightfall strike
- Call to Arms
- Flashpoint
- Clan XP milestone
- Weekly clan engrams
- Meditations (with Ikora Rey)
- Eververse content available for Shard
- Treasure maps from Cayde-6
- Leviathan raid
What to expect in this week’s activities is explained below.
Nightfall strike on September 19 on PS4 and Xbox One
This week’s Nightfall is Exodus Crash.
The modifiers:
Prisma: Attacks matching the displayed element deal increased damage. Other elemental damage is reduced. The element switches.This modifier has since been disabled.- Friction: Health and shield regeneration are affected. Eliminating enemies can create light sources that allow you to regenerate health and recharge your super.
- Time Loop Anomalies: Destroy anomalies to extend the timer.
The Nightfall challenges:
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
- Complete the Nightfall with less than 3 deaths.
- Defeat 9 Shanks with melee attacks as a fireteam before defeating Thaviks.

The Flashpoint this week is on Titan.
The treasure maps from Cayde-6 are for Titan.
The meditations with Ikora are Six, Cycle, Utopia.
In the future, additional activities that reset weekly are expected. It is known that the raid will receive additional tasks next month. This will likely mean raid challenges that rotate weekly and allow for additional loot. We will see.
Update: According to Reddit users, the order in the Leviathan raid changes weekly. The current order is: Garden of Salvation, Reckoning, Bathers, Calus.
Starting next week, a Faction Rally will begin, dealing with the Future War Cult, the Dead Orbit, and the New Monarchy. What awaits us there will only become clear in the future.
