In Destiny 2, on November 6th, is the Weekly Reset. What activities and challenges does the new week bring? What are the new Nightfall strikes and where is the Flashpoint?
What does the new week in Destiny 2 bring? With today’s Weekly Reset, the Halloween event Festival of the Lost has come to an end. However, the mysterious festival quest surrounding the murder of the former Reef Cryptarch, which started last week, is finally continuing.
Moreover, the Curse of the Dreaming City is entering its third cycle week. Guardians now have the opportunity to earn the exotic bow Wishender. The Broken Throne is active this week.
The chances of the special Primeval in Gambit mode, which has the quest for the exotic hand cannon Dienstvergehen, are also highest this week.
Additionally, all owners of Destiny 2 have the chance to get a first-hand look at the Gambit mode of the Forsaken expansion this weekend from November 9th – 11th, even if they do not own Forsaken.

Hotfix 2.0.5.1 releases today
Destiny 2 will receive the Hotfix 2.0.5.1 today, November 6th, at 7:00 PM. There will be no downtime, but players might be removed from their activities and returned to the login screen to install the fix.
Nightfall strikes from November 6th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
You can choose between three Nightfall strikes each week. This week there are:
- Sea of Shadows
- Tree of Probabilities
- The Hollowed Hideout
The recommended power level is 540. Modifiers are only available through the challenge card. Your gear is locked during the activity – so choose wisely.

To get powerful loot you must:
- Complete the Nightfall strike
- Complete the Nightfall strike with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
In the heroic story missions, these modifiers are active:
- Void Singe
- Blackout: Enemy melee attacks are significantly stronger and radar is disabled
- Heavyweight: Power weapons deal more damage and more ammo is available
In the Vanguard Strikes, the same modifiers as in the heroic story missions are active. You can choose different difficulties, the maximum is “Level 50 – 500 Power”.
While the Singe modifier remains the same throughout the week, the other two modifiers change daily.
To get powerful loot you must:
- Complete 3 heroic story missions
- Complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus of the same light element as a fireteam member
Crucible Activities and Gambit
In the Crucible there are:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Rumble
- Control
- Private Match
To get powerful loot you must:
- Complete 5 Crucible matches
- Complete 3 Gambit matches
Escalation Protocol
If the previous rotation is maintained, you have the chance to obtain the following weapon from the end boss of the Escalation Protocol this week:
- the legendary submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Petra, Bounties
Amanda Holiday does not need to be visited today. The mysterious festival quest automatically continues with the next step. Now, Guardians must locate the Lost Sectors
- Atrium
- East End
- and Widow’s Path
in the EDZ on Earth and look for further clues. Here you can find an overview of all Lost Sectors.
The Flashpoint is in the Tangled Shore starting today. There is also a heroic adventure that drops Powerful gear.
Ikora Rey allows you to complete 20 Bounties for Powerful gear.
Hawthorne allows you to earn 5,000 XP with clan bounties for Powerful gear. Additionally, she has the weekly raid challenge “Stay Outside”, which also drops Powerful gear upon successful completion.
For powerful gear, you are allowed to complete the weekly bounty “Get On With It” from the Wandering.
Petra Venj can be found in the area of Rheasilvia. She has the mission “Dark Monastery” for which you will receive powerful gear – as well as for the Ascendant challenge and the completion of 8 daily and 2 weekly bounties. This time, the 4th Ascendant Challenge is active.
Spider offers the bounty Arcadia Accord which rewards powerful gear. You need 5 Ghost fragments for it.
The loadout for the Prestige raid encounters is limited this time to a kinetic pistol, an energy scout rifle, and a sword in the Power slot. The modifier Gladiator is active.
The raid challenge takes place this time in the Royal Baths .
In the Eververse, starting November 6th, you can buy gestures from the first year of Destiny 2 for one week – but only for Silver. Additionally, there are parts of the Festival armor set (gauntlets), the exotic gesture Red Card, as well as weapon ornaments for the Prospector and the MIDA Multi-Tool.
