In Destiny 2, today, June 19th, the Weekly Reset is back. The second Iron Banner of Season 3 is live. With the weekly reset, new activities such as Nightfall strikes or Flashpoints can now be participated in.
It’s that time again – a new week is breaking in the Destiny universe. And for all PvP fans, it brings some variety again. Because the second Iron Banner of Season 3 is now live.
For a week, the Guardians again have the opportunity to let loose in 6vs6 in the crucible. Additionally, the hunt for new weapons and ornaments of the Season 3 Iron Banner continues.
But let’s see what else this current week has to offer.
Nightfall Strike from June 19th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
As Bungie stated on Twitter, this week’s Nightfall Strike has been shortly changed from “A Garden World” to “Tree of Probabilities“.
Thus, you have another chance this week for the legendary hand cannon T.V.O.
No modifiers are active in the normal Nightfall Strike!
In Prestige mode, you must activate the modifiers via the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in the normal and Prestige modes of the Nightfall strike. Don’t forget that you can upgrade your challenge cards again with Xur starting Friday.
The following challenges need to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with less than 3 deaths.
- Armored Minotaur: Eliminate the armored Minotaurs in under 90 seconds.
Heroic Strike Modifiers
The respective scorch modifier remains active until the next reset. The other two modifiers switch daily. Currently, the following modifiers are active in the heroic strike playlist:
- Solar Scorch: Solar damage from all sources increases slightly
- Grounded: Damage taken while in the air is significantly increased
- Brawler: Melee abilities deal more damage and charge much faster
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Mars this week. There, you need to master public events.
Cayde-6 has Helas Basin treasure maps ready for you.
Ikora Rey offers meditations for the missions “Six,” “Loop,” “A Garden World,” and “Pilgrimage.”
The raid challenge takes place this time in the Gardens of Desire.
Crucible
The weekly crucible playlist has the 6vs6 Iron Banner active this week.
Escalation Protocol
If the current rotation is maintained, you have a chance at the end boss of the escalation protocol this week for:
- the legendary submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
