In Destiny 2, today, on July 3rd, it is Weekly Reset again. The winner of the Faction Rally has been decided. With the weekly reset, new activities like the Nightfall strike or the Flashpoint can now be participated in. The weekly Crucible playlist is also rotating again.
As expected, it is now officially confirmed: The Future War Cult has won the second team fight of Season 3.
The winner’s weapon is the legendary pistol “The Vision” (Energy weapon). Followers of the KdZ pay 1,000 Glimmer, while all other Guardians have to shell out 50,000 Glimmer for the weapon.
By the way: During the winner week, faction ornaments can still be unlocked, except for the helmet and leg armor if you have already reached the required rank with the respective faction.
But let’s see what else this week has to offer.
Nightfall starting July 3rd on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, the Nightfall is “The Arms Dealer”. This week, you have the chance for the following exclusive Nightfall strike reward: the exotic Sparrow Inclined Fuse.
No modifiers are active in the normal Nightfall strike!
In Prestige mode, you must activate the modifiers through the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in both normal and Prestige mode of the Nightfall strike. Don’t forget that you can upgrade your challenge cards with Xur again starting Friday.
The following challenges want to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with less than 3 deaths.
- Fury for the Furor: Take down a Furor while fighting Bracus Tynoc.
Heroic Strike Modifiers
The respective Scorch modifier remains active until the next reset. The other two modifiers switch daily. Currently, the following modifiers are active in the heroic strike playlist:
- Arc Scorch: Arc damage from all sources is slightly increased
- Iron: Enemies have more health and do not stagger from damage
- Grenadier: Grenade abilities deal more damage and recharge much faster
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Titan this week. There, public events need to be mastered.
Cayde-6 has Titan treasure maps ready for you.
Ikora Rey has meditations for the missions “Unbroken”, “Revenge”, “Tree of Probabilities” and “Foreign Terrain” on offer.
The raid challenge this time takes place in the Royal Baths.
Crucible
The weekly Crucible playlist features the Witch’s Cauldron mode this week.
Escalation Protocol
If the current rotation is maintained, you have the chance at the end boss of the Escalation Protocol this week for the following three weapons:
- the legendary sniper rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
