What’s happening in Destiny 2 right now? Only two weeks remain for the Guardians in the current season before the new Season 13 starts on February 9th. Hopefully, it will bring a fresh breeze to the shooter.
Fortunately, almost all content from the expiring Season 12 will remain in the game throughout the year. This includes the new Omen mission that has positively surprised the Guardians. Here you farm new copies of the Hawkmoon with random rolls this week.

In Nightfall: The Challenge the strike
- The Crimson Fortress
is ready. You can adjust the difficulty level of this activity yourselves.
This week, you will receive double loot in the Challenge, by the way. Additionally, the bonus for Platinum will increase over the weekend, so if you defeat all Champions.
On top of that, you can tackle all available strikes on Grandmaster. This way, you can get the Conqueror title if you are strong enough. Here are tips for the “ultimate challenge”.
Playlist Strikes are available with these modifiers:
- Solar Singe
- Grenadier
- Grounded
However, keep in mind that the Singe modifier will remain the same all week. The other modifiers will rotate daily.

Petra Venj is currently located (Curse Week 2) for one week directly at the landing zone of the Dreaming City. You can also tackle the 6th Ascendant Challenge .

This is how powerful loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers, granting you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- pinnacle gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes above 1250 and up to a maximum of 1260 – afterwards the level jumps are lower, +1)
