Destiny 2: Weekly Reset on 27.10 - New Activities & Challenges

Today, October 27th, it’s time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 which brings the Guardians new weekly challenges, Nightfall Strikes, and a fresh Flashpoint. But what else is there for the Guardians to do?

This is happening in Destiny 2: Today marks the last week of the Halloween event “Festival of the Lost 2020“. So if you still want the mysterious item from the event, you need to hurry.

Because next week the last event before the fall expansion Beyond Light will already be over. But two weeks before the big expansion starts, we want to know from you, which new class you will dive into the adventure with.

Also, Bungie recently introduced Season 12, which starts alongside Beyond Light:

These Nightfalls await you: In the regular Nightfall (power level 820) there are these Nightfall Strikes:

As always, the burn modifier remains the same for the entire week. The remaining modifiers rotate daily.

Escalation Protocol: The weapons of the Escalation Protocol are available in the current version with additional perks and mod slots during the Contact event and the Prophecy dungeon. However, the armor is still only obtainable through the activity on Mars, but for some time now also in the “Armor 2.0” variant.

Petra Venj is currently located (Curse Week 1) at the pavilion in the area “The Shore”. Additionally, you can take on the 5th Ascendant Challenge .

This is how Powerful Loot is divided in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers, which grant you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers grant you higher power boosts.

Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
Best-in-slot gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes over 1050 and up to a maximum of 1060)

For your information: Power levels gained through the new artifact “Seed of Silver Wings” are not considered in the calculation of the power levels of your drops. Here, the average of gear and weapons is crucial.
