In Destiny 2 today, on June 25th, the Weekly Reset takes place. The heroic mode in the Menagerie can now be engaged. Additionally, there are fresh weekly activities and challenges like new Nightfall strikes or a different Flashpoint. What else is new for the Guardians to do?
In Destiny 2, the heroic mode for the Menagerie has gone live with the weekly reset on June 25th – a new 6-player activity from the Season of Opulence.

Since the first Iron Banner of Season 7 also ended with the reset, we also want to know how you found the new armor quest in the Iron Banner. This change is currently being widely discussed by fans.

Nightfall Strikes from June 25th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
The following Nightfall strikes can be tackled this week:
- Lake of Shadows
- The Hollowed Lair
- Terminus of Insight
These have been further adjusted by Bungie.

Want powerful loot?
- Successfully complete a Nightfall
- Successfully complete a Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
These are the modifiers from the Vanguard Strikes and the heroic story missions:
- Voidburn
- Iron: Enemies have more health and do not flinch when taking damage
- Heavyweight: Power weapons deal more damage and more ammunition is available
The burn modifier will remain active throughout the week, while the other two parameters change daily.

- Complete 3 heroic story missions
- Complete 3 heroic strikes focusing on the element matching the active burn element
Crucible, Gambit, Gambit Prime, Reckoning
This week you can choose between the following PvP modes:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Lockdown
- Rumble
- Private Match
The modifiers in the Reckoning mode this time are:
- Solar Burn
- Chafe
- Grenadier
Want powerful loot?
- Participate in 5 Crucible matches
- Participate in 3 Gambit matches
- Participate in 4 Gambit Prime matches
- Successfully complete Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
The Woeful offers the bounty “Get on with it” that rewards you with a powerful reward upon completion.
Escalation Protocol
This time you have the chance for the following firearms:
- the legendary Sniper Rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary Shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary Submachine Gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Hawthorne/Benedict 99-40, Ada-1, Petra, Spider
The Flashpoint can be found this time in the European Dead Zone on Earth. For this and the corresponding heroic adventure, you will be significantly rewarded.
At Hawthorne/Benedict 99-40 you can get 4 weekly bounties. All 4 yield powerful loot when you complete them successfully. Additionally, there is an extra reward in the form of a powerful gear piece for completing all four bounties. You can also earn up to 3 more powerful rewards through the Menagerie. However, you need to have unlocked the right upgrades to your Chalice of Opulence to do that.
Ada-1 has all available powerful weapon shapes for you.
If you complete 20 bounties of any kind this week, you will receive a powerful item from Ikora Rey .
For 5,000 Clan XP, you can also pick up a powerful reward from Hawthorne. If you also complete her bounties “A Trouble Affair”, “Which Witch?”, “Stay On Task” and “Limited Blessing”, you will receive a powerful item for each of these bounties on top.
Petra Venj is located this time (curse week 3) in the Rheasilvia region of the Dreaming City. If you master Petra’s mission as well as the 8 daily bounties and the Ascendant Challenge , you will receive a powerful reward for each of these tasks.
This week, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active. Additionally, you can now challenge the Broken Throne until the next reset.
Spider offers you the weekly bounty “Burner-Valus” for which there is powerful loot upon completion.

- the exotic Ghost shell “Drop Pod”
- the exotic Ghost shell “Arc”
- the Warlock gauntlets from the new Eververse set
- an armor ornament for the Titan leg armor Dunewalker
- an weapon ornament for Izanagi’s Burden
