In Destiny 2 today, on April 23rd, is Weekly Reset. The Spring event is in its 2nd week and the April Iron Banner is live. Additionally, there are more fresh activities such as new Nightfall strikes or a new Flashpoint. What else does the week bring?
The event “The Revelry” is currently underway in Destiny 2. If you are just now joining the celebrations, we have summarized everything important about the Spring Festival for you:

Additionally, today the one-week April Iron Banner has started, where Guardians can compete against each other in the Crucible under the watchful eyes of Lord Saladin. You can find all info about this PvP event here:
Nightfall Strikes from April 23rd on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This time, the following Nightfall strikes are available:
- The Corrupted
- Strange Terrain
- Exodus Crash
A Power Level of 540 or higher is recommended for this. However, it’s also doable with a lower Power Level in a well-coordinated fireteam. If you want to customize your Nightfall experience based on different modifiers, you can do that through the Challenge Card. Remember that your loadout is locked for the duration of the Nightfall strike.
Have you already completed your Nightfall loot collection? These Nightfall exclusive rewards can be earned this week.
You earn powerful rewards from Nightfall strikes if:
- You successfully complete a Nightfall
- You master a Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
In the Vanguard strikes and heroic story missions, the following modifiers are active in the current Destiny week:
- Void Singe
- Blackout: Enemy melee attacks are significantly stronger and the radar is disabled
- Heavyweight: Power weapons deal more damage and more ammunition is available
Please note: Until the weekly reset on April 30th, the Singe element remains unchanged. The other modifiers, however, change daily.
You earn powerful rewards from Strikes and heroic missions if:
- You complete 3 heroic story missions
- You complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus on the same Light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible, Gambit, Reckoning
In PvP, you can choose from the following modes:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Iron Banner
- Rumble
- Private Match
The following modifiers are active in Reckoning:
- Solar Singe
- Rift
- Slayer
You earn powerful rewards from PvP, Gambit, and Reckoning if:
- You participate in 5 Crucible matches
- You participate in 3 Gambit matches
- You participate in 4 Gambit Prime matches
- You successfully complete Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
The Drifter has weekly bounties for Gambit Prime as well as “Get on with it” for regular Gambit. You will receive a powerful item for that.
Lord Saladin has 7 weekly Iron Banner bounties that reward you with a powerful reward each.
Escalation Protocol
The Escalation Protocol on Mars offers you the chance to obtain the following weapon this week:
- the legendary Shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Spider, Raid
You can find the new Flashpoint on Titan. If you also master the marked adventure there, you will receive another powerful piece of gear.
At Eva Levante, there is the new Exotic weapon Arbalest, Revelry packages, as well as daily and weekly event bounties. If you just joined the festivities, she initially gives you the Revelrous Elixir and 50x Revelrous Essence.
Ada-1 has all 7 powerful weapon frames available.
Ikora Rey rewards you with powerful loot once you have successfully completed 20 random bounties. Moreover, for Vanguard followers, she offers the weekly Loyalty Reward. As a Drifter sympathizer, you receive your reward from the Drifter.
Hawthorne gives you a powerful item as soon as you accumulate 5000 Clan XP. By completing the bounties “Endless Battle”, “Stick Together”, and “Friends?” you can earn additional powerful items.
In Petra Venj, you will find her in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. Through her mission, the Ascendant Challenge, and the 8 daily bounties, you can earn further powerful rewards. This time, the 4th Ascendant Challenge is active and the Cursed Thrall rotates into its 3rd week. The Broken Throne is active as well.
From Spider, you can currently undertake the weekly bounty “Silent Reaper“. For this, you will be rewarded with another powerful piece of gear.
The Raid Challenge takes place in the Royal Baths.
