In Destiny 2 today, on November 20th, Weekly Reset occurs. Guardians can engage in new activities and challenges. Additionally, new Nightfall Strikes and a new Flashpoint are active.
The last week of Season 4 begins: With the weekly reset on November 20th, the last week of Season 4 begins before the new Season of the Forge starts on November 27th. What you should note before that is here:
You have until November 27th to secure the first Heavy Machine Gun, the Thunderlord, as part of a relatively simple and short quest. After that, you’ll have to rely on luck. The weapon will only be available as a random drop from exotic engrams. More details can be found here:

Nightfall Strikes from November 20th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
Since Forsaken, you can choose between three Nightfall Strikes each week. This week, the following strikes are up:
- A Garden World
- Lake of Shadows
- Tree of Probabilities
A power level of 540 is recommended. You can set modifiers via the challenge card. Note that your gear is locked during the Nightfalls.

To get powerful loot you must:
- Complete a Nightfall Strike
- Complete a Nightfall Strike with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
In the heroic story missions this week, the following modifiers are active:
- Solar Burn
- Glass: Health and shields are reduced by half, but recovery is twice as fast
- Thrasher: Melee abilities deal more damage and reload much faster
The modifiers in the Vanguard Strikes are the same as in the heroic story missions. The Burn modifier remains active all week. The other two rotate daily.
To get powerful loot you must:
- Complete 3 heroic story missions
- Complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus on the same light element as a fireteam member
Crucible Activities and Gambit
In the Crucible, you have the following options this week:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Rumble
- Breakthrough
- Private Match
To get powerful loot you must:
- Complete 5 Crucible matches
- Complete 3 Gambit matches
Escalation Protocol
In the boss encounter of the Escalation Protocol, this week there is a chance to get the following weapons:
- the legendary Sniper Rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary Shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary Submachine Gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Petra, Bounties
Amanda Holiday has the Thunderlord quest available for you this week in the Tower, if you haven’t completed it yet.
The Flashpoint is on Mercury starting today. There you’ll also find a heroic adventure where you can earn Powerful gear.
With Ikora Rey, you need to complete 20 bounties for Powerful gear.
With Hawthorne, you need to earn 5,000 XP for your clan with the appropriate bounties to get Powerful gear. Additionally, she offers the weekly raid challenge “Summoning Ritual” for clans, where you can also secure Powerful gear.
The Vagabond lets you undertake the weekly bounty “The Power of the Traveler” and rewards you with Powerful gear for it.
Petra Venj is waiting for you directly at the landing zone of the Dreaming City. There’s a mission there that rewards a Powerful prize. By completing the Ascendant Challenge and finishing 8 daily bounties, you can secure additional Powerful rewards. This week the 6th Ascendant Challenge is active.
With Spider you receive the bounty “Silent Reaper“. If you find and eliminate the wanted, you will be rewarded with Powerful gear.
The Loadout for the Prestige Raid encounters consists of any kinetic weapon, a fusion rifle in the energy slot, and a fusion rifle in the power slot. This week the modifier is Arsenal.
The Raid Challenge will take place this week in the Circus .

- the exotic Ghost shell S.C.H.W.E.B.E.R.
- the exotic Sparrow Hecuba-S
- the exotic ship Death to the Kells
- the exotic emote All Alone
- an armor ornament for the Hunter helm Heavenly Nightfall
