The Weekly Reset brings players in Destiny 2 today, on 18.08., new weekly activities, fresh Nightfall strikes, and a new Flashpoint. But what else can the Guardians accomplish?

But today, Destiny 2 is being played again, and we are looking at what the new week has to offer.
The key information about weekly activities from 18.08. to 25.08.
These Nightfall strikes are available: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820), you can choose from these Nightfalls:
- Exodus Crash
- Savathun’s Song
- Guardians of Nothing
In Nightfall: The Ordeal the strike
- The Wretched Eye
is ready.
In strikes and story missions these modifiers are active:
- Void Singe
- Iron
- Heavyweight
But keep in mind that the Singe modifier remains the same for the entire week. The other modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: These playlists and modes are available in PvP:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Conflict (Rotational Playlist)
- Lockdown (Rotational Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)
- Classic Mix (Core Playlist)
Fate: The Drifter activates these modifiers for you:
- Solar Singe
- Grenadier
Escalation Protocol: You can earn the weapons of the Escalation Protocol in Season 11 from the Contact event and the Prophecy dungeon in its current version with additional perks and mod slots. The armor is still only obtainable through the activity on Mars, but for some time now also in the “Armor 2.0” variant.
The current Flashpoint can be found on Nessus.
Petra Venj can currently be found in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. Here, the maximum curse level (3) is in effect. Additionally, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.

This is how powerful loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful loot is available in several tiers, granting you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers grant you higher power boosts as well.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 over the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 over the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 over the current power level)
- Exotic gear (+5 or more over the power level. The only gear that goes over 1050 and up to a maximum of 1060)
For your information: Power levels gained through the new artifact “Seed of Silver Wings” are not considered for the calculation of your drops’ power levels. The average of armor and weapons is what counts here.
