In Destiny 2 today, on April 16th, is Weekly Reset. The Spring Event “The Revelry” has begun. Additionally, there are fresh weekly activities. What are the 3 new Nightfall strikes? And where can you find the Flashpoint?
In Destiny 2 Spring has arrived: With today’s reset, the brand new event “The Revelry” has begun. The Tower has now donned a festive look for the next three weeks and the Guardians are celebrating the onset of spring.
In this, you can enjoy a new activity, snag new event loot, and even grab the second weapon exotic of the Season 6.

What does the new week hold for the Guardians?
Nightfall Strikes starting April 16th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week you can choose between the following three Nightfall strikes:
- Lake of Shadows
- The Pyramidion
- Tree of Probabilities
The game recommends a power level of at least 540 for this. However, with a good team, you can also accomplish something even with a lower power level. Through the challenge card, you can customize the Nightfall strikes with various modifiers.
In the Nightfall strikes, you can also earn these Nightfall-exclusive rewards if you’re lucky.
You can get powerful loot from the Nightfall strikes if you:
- successfully complete a Nightfall
- master a Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
The Vanguard Strikes and the heroic story missions share the following modifiers this week:
- Solar Singe
- Grounded: Damage taken while in the air is significantly increased
- Brawler: Melee abilities do more damage and recharge much faster
The singe element remains active continuously until the next reset. The other two modifiers rotate daily.
You can get powerful loot from strikes and heroic missions if you:
- complete 3 heroic story missions
- complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus of the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible, Gambit, Reckoning
In PvP, these modes are available to you:
- Quick Play
- Competitive
- Control
- Rumble
- Private Match
The following modifiers can be found in Reckoning mode:
- Void Singe
- Prism
- Grenadier
You can get powerful loot from PvP, Gambit, and Reckoning if you:
- play 5 Crucible matches
- play 3 Gambit matches
- play 4 Gambit Prime matches
- successfully complete Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
With the Vagabond you can find weekly bounties for Gambit Prime as well as “The Traveler’s Gift” for the regular Gambit mode. This bounty rewards you with a Powerful Item.
Escalation Protocol
In the Escalation Protocol, you have the chance this week to obtain the following three weapons:
- the legendary Sniper Rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary Shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary Submachine Gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Spider, Raid
The Flashpoint is located on Mercury. With the marked adventure on the Flashpoint planet, you can also earn an additional Powerful Item.
Visit Eva Levante in the Tower. She is near Ikora and offers the new weapon exotic Arbalest as well as Revelry packages for sale. Additionally, she will greet you with the Revelry Elixir and 50x Revelry Essence. Activate the elixir and you’ll gain access to the weekly bounty. Then you can also enter the Greenforest via the Tower map.
At Ada-1 you can choose from all 7 Powerful weapon frames.
Ikora Rey offers a Powerful reward once you have successfully completed 20 random bounties. If you also decided for the Vanguard, you will also receive the corresponding Loyalty Reward from her. Otherwise, you will have to obtain this reward from the Vagabond.
Hawthorne will reward you with Powerful loot if you manage to collect 5000 Clan XP. With her bounties “Which Witch?”, “To Each Their Own” and “Friends?” you can earn further Powerful rewards.
Petra Venj is this week located in the spawn area (2nd curse week) of the Dreaming City. You can earn Powerful rewards for completing her mission, from 8 daily bounties, and by mastering the 3rd Ascendant Challenge.
Spider has the weekly bounty “Grave Tide Summoner” ready for the Guardians. This way you can secure another Powerful item.
The Raid Challenge takes place in the Circus.
The Loadout for the Prestige Raid sections:
- a kinetic auto rifle
- an energy slot auto rifle
- any power weapon
- Modifier: Arsenal
The highlights of the Eververse:
- a weapon ornament for the Wardcliff Coil
- the gauntlets and class item of the new event armor sets
- the chest piece of the new armor sets
- the exotic Sparrow “Equinox Cutter”
- the exotic Ghost shell “Sunshot”
- The exotic emote “Cup of Tea”
