In Destiny 2 today, on May 14, is Weekly Reset. The last Iron Banner of Season 6 is now live. Additionally, the weekly activities are rotating and there are new challenges. Which Nightfall Strikes are up next? And where is the Flashpoint?
In Destiny 2, the last event of the Season 6 has started – the May Iron Banner. For a week, Guardians can engage in this Crucible activity to earn seasonal triumphs, armor pieces, and other items that will not be available afterwards.

Additionally, many Guardians are eager to level up the Catalyst for the Perfected Outbreak. Many are also curious if the Exotic questline from the mission “The Zero Hour” will continue this week. More information can be found here:

Nightfall Strikes from May 14 on PS4, Xbox One and PC
You can choose from the following Nightfall Strikes this week:
- The Terminus of Insight
- The Pyramidion
- Tree of Probability
A power level of 540 is recommended for this. If you are going in a well-coordinated team, you can tackle the Nightfall even with a lower power level.
If you enjoy challenges, you can adjust your Nightfall experience with the challenge card. Your gear will also be locked during the Nightfall strike, so it’s best to set your equipment in advance.

For powerful loot from Nightfall Strikes:
- Successfully complete a Nightfall
- Successfully complete a Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
These are the modifiers for the Vanguard Strikes and heroic Story Missions:
- Void Singe
- Grounded: Damage while airborne is significantly increased
- Heavyweight: Power weapons deal more damage and more ammo is available
Keep in mind: the singe element remains unchanged until the next reset. The other modifiers rotate daily.
For powerful loot from Strikes and heroic Missions:
- Complete 3 heroic Story Missions
- Complete 3 heroic Strikes with a focus on the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible, Gambit, Reckoning
These are the PvP modes for this week:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Iron Banner
- Rumble
- Private Match
During the Iron Banner, there are also double valor points.
These are the modifiers in Reckoning:
- Solar Singe
- Friction
- Grenadier
For powerful loot from PvP, Gambit, and Reckoning:
- Play 5 Crucible matches
- Play 3 Gambit matches
- Play 4 Gambit Prime matches
- Successfully complete Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
From the Nomad there are also weekly bounties for Gambit Prime, as well as the bounty “Get on with it” for regular Gambit. If you complete it, you will receive a powerful reward.
Lord Saladin has seven weekly Iron Banner bounties for you. Each of these bounties rewards you with a powerful reward.
Escalation Protocol
Here are the weapons you can earn this week in Escalation Protocol on Mars:
- the legendary sniper rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Spider, Raid
If you’re looking for the Flashpoint – you’ll find it this week on Nessus. For the marked heroic adventure on this planet, there’s more powerful loot available.
AtAda-1 there are all powerful weapon patterns for the Forges.
Complete 20 random bounties, andIkora Rey will grant you powerful loot. For Vanguard fans, she also offers the weekly Loyalty reward. Otherwise, you have to go to the Nomad for that.
If you contribute to your clan and gather 5,000 clan XP, you will also receive powerful loot fromHawthorne. Complete her bounties “Convergence Ritual”, “Stick Together”, and “Friends?” and you can secure other powerful rewards.
At Petra Venj you will find her in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. Complete her mission, the Ascendant challenge, and the 8 daily bounties – you will receive powerful loot for each of these milestones. Currently, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active. Additionally, the Curse of the Taken reaches its 3rd cycle week. The Broken Throne can be attempted again.
Spider is selling the weekly bounty “Silent Snatcher“. Complete this bounty and you will receive a powerful item.
The Raid Challenge is taking place in the Gardens of Desire.

- a rocket launcher as your power weapon
- Modifier: Gladiator
The highlights of the Eververse:
- a weapon ornament for the “Colony”
- a weapon ornament for the “Prometheus Lens”
