Today, on January 14th, the Weekly Reset is taking place in Destiny 2. This involves a rotation of weekly activities and there are new Nightfall Strikes and a fresh Flashpoint for the Guardians. But what else is there to do?
What is happening in Destiny 2 right now? Today, the Hotfix 2.7.0.2 was supposed to be rolled out with the Weekly Reset . However, Bungie announced via Twitter that the patch will be delayed. There is currently no new release date.
Otherwise, the Destiny week is taking it a bit easier now that the Dawning event has officially ended.
We will look at the activities of the new week together.

These Nightfalls are available: For the regular Nightfall (Power level 820), you can play the following strikes:
- A Garden World
- Tree of Probabilities
- The Corrupted
In Nightfall: The Trial by Fire the strike
- The Pyramidion
is available.
Strikes and Story Missions have the following modifiers:
- Solar Scorch
- Grounded
- Brute
While the Scorch modifier remains the same throughout the week, the other two modifiers rotate daily.

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful gear comes in various quality levels. Higher level items grant you a correspondingly higher power boost.
- Level 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Level 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Level 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Peak Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes above 960 and up to a maximum of 970. From 960 up to +2 power)
For your information: Power levels gained from the seasonal artifact are not considered in the calculation of the power levels of your drops. Here, the average of gear and weapons is decisive.
