Today, on October 13, it is time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 This brings new weekly challenges, Nightfall Strikes, and a fresh Flashpoint for the Guardians. But what else is there for the Guardians to do?
What’s going on in Destiny? Currently, Destiny 2 offers players more bonuses than ever. This week, it is Gambit mode’s turn, where you can earn 3x Recklessness. So it is a perfect time to rank up a bit.
Additionally, the Halloween event “Festival of the Lost 2020” continues, which leaves players wondering about the mysterious reward. Also mysterious is the newly introduced character and instructor Shaw. The Guardians wonder: Is he actually a hated murderer?
Important information about the weekly activities from 10/13 to 10/20.
These Nightfall Strikes are available: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820), you can choose from these Nightfalls:
- Sea of Shadows
- The Twisted Tower
- The Swarming Core
In Nightfall: The Ordeal you must master the strike
- The Corrupted

In Strikes and story missions these modifiers are active:
- Solar Singe
- Grounded
- Aggressive
But keep in mind that the Singe modifier remains constant throughout the week. The remaining modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: These playlists and modes are on the agenda in PvP:

- Rumble (Core Playlist)

Settlement: The Drifter activates these modifiers for you:

Escalation Protocol: You can earn the weapons of Escalation Protocol in Season 11 from the Contact event and the Prophecy dungeon in the current version with additional perks and mod slots. The armor is still available only through activity on Mars but has also been available in “Armor 2.0” variant for some time now.

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers, giving you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers also grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- pinnacle gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes over 1050 and up to a maximum of 1060)
For your information: Power levels gained through the new artifact “Seed of Silver Wings” will not be counted for the calculation of your drops. The average gear and weapons are decisive here.
