In Destiny 2 today, on 12.03., Weekly Reset occurs. The new week brings 2 new quests and rotates the weekly activities. The Flashpoint changes, there are new Nightfalls and fresh challenges.
Aside from the weekly routine, all Guardians with the Forsaken Annual Pass now receive two new quests to tackle:
- The hunt for the exotic hand cannon Dorn begins
- At the same time, the Loyalty Quest starts, where you must choose between the Vanguard and the Drifter, which will significantly impact the further course of the story
So keep an eye out for new quest markers in the Tower and on the map.
Additionally, the Curse of the Dreaming City rotates into its third week. The Shattered Throne can be played, where Guardians can grab the exotic bow Wishender .
If you still need the exotic hand cannon Service Violation, then this week you have the best chances in the regular Gambit mode to get the corresponding quest.
Nightfalls starting 12.03. on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This time, you have the following 3 Nightfalls to choose from:
- The Pyramidion
- Tree of Probabilities
- The Hollowed Lair
For this, you should have a power level of at least 540. However, the Nightfalls can also be completed with a lower level in the fireteam.
If desired, you can adjust the Nightfalls using a challenge card. There, you can apply various modifiers and significantly change the experience.
Plan your gear and team composition in advance, as your loadout will be locked for the duration of the Nightfall.

- Complete one Nightfall
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
In the heroic story missions and in the Vanguard Strikes, the following modifiers are active:
- Void Singe
- Glass: Health and shields are reduced by half, but recovery is twice as fast
- Heavyweight: Power weapons deal more damage and more ammunition is available
Note that the Singe element persists throughout the week. The other two modifiers change daily.

- Complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus of the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible Activities and Gambit
This week, the PvP offers the following modes:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Showdown
- Rumble
- Private Match

- Play 4 Gambit Prime matches
In Gambit, you can now choose between regular Gambit, Gambit Prime, and Private Matches. Also in the Gambit overview, you can find the mode “The Reckoning” where you can also earn powerful gear.
Escalation Protocol
The Escalation Protocol offers you the chance this week to obtain the following weapons:
- the legendary sniper rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary SMG IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Spider, Drifter
This week, you can tackle the Flashpoint on Mars. There you will also find a heroic adventure that rewards you with powerful loot.
Ikora Rey lets you complete 20 random bounties for a powerful reward.
Hawthorne gives you powerful loot once you gather 5000 Clan XP. By the way, she only has weekly bounties left.
You can now find the Drifter in the Tower’s Annex near Ada-1. Speak to him to start the decision quest. Besides the Power-Leveling Bounties that quickly raise all Annual Pass holders to 640, he also has the weekly bounty “Just Do It” where you can earn a powerful engram.
The Dorn Quest: The Dorn quest starts in the ETZ on Earth. Go to the Trostland area for this.
Run north into the salt mines, enter the salt works, and continue until you reach the broken elevator where you will find a teleporter. Use this.
Once you are teleported, run up the hill until you reach an energy barrier. Stick to the left by the rock wall and jump through the small passage upwards. There you will find an abandoned hideout.

At Ada-1 there are powerful weapon frames for the bow, sword, and auto rifle.
Petra Venj is located in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. You can earn a powerful reward by completing a mission with her. For the Ascendant Challenge and the 8 daily bounties, there are also two more powerful gear pieces on top. Currently, the 4th Ascendant Challenge is active.
Spider has the weekly bounty “Bloodsplitter” for you. If you complete this bounty, you will receive a powerful reward.
The Raid Challenge takes place in the Royal Pools .
