The sun rises again in Destiny 2 and with it a new week. What you can expect this week and what you should know about the Trials and the Eververse is explained here in our Weekly Reset.
This week’s events: There’s a lot to do this week, as one of the toughest modes in Destiny 2 is starting:
- The Nightfall strike begins
- In addition, Lord Saladin bids farewell with his Iron Banner. Instead, the Trials of Osiris begin this weekend.

Nightfall
- Heist Battleground, on Europa
- A severe test of your skills, as you must complete the Heist Battleground on Europa. You will fight against the Eye of Xivu Arath. Furthermore, you will encounter many deadly lasers, traps, and a lot of Hive.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
- Both modes Control and Momentum Control are running in PvP this week.
This week there is a bonus
- Double Nightfall rewards and Vanguard boosters
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable Endgame on a weekly rotation: As the Endgame progresses, the Legacy rotations await.
Both the rotating raid, the rotating dungeon, and the exotic rotation missions are farmable. This means you can complete the individual encounters repeatedly to receive various items and complete your collection. Including any Exotics that are available in these contents.
- The weekly Legacy raid is “Vault of Glass” with the weapon Exotic

Vex Mythoclast” - Additionally, there is extra top loot available in the Dungeon “The Shattered Throne”
- The weekly Exotic mission is “Foreboding” with the Exotic “Tale of a Dead Man”.
Weekly Activities
Season 22 offers Guardians new challenges and a card deck that supports them on their missions with buffs and advantages. As long as they unlock everything and put together their deck appropriately.
- Altars of Summoning: Offer sacrifices in the otherworldly prison of the Witch Queen to summon hideous enemies, defeat them, and gain their power.
- There are three difficulty levels that you can activate. So anyone who activates “Mighty,” the highest difficulty level with three swords, will also break a sweat.
- Savathûn’s Spire: Activate the spire, defeat its overseers, and gain access to the Altars of Summoning.
- Void Crystals have a barrier around them that protects nearby enemies. The barrier must be breached and the crystal destroyed from inside.
- Solar Crystals burn upon pickup and must be transported to a separate part of the arena.
- Arc Crystals grant the melee buff “Crystalline Charge” during close combat. Inactive Arc Crystals must be awakened with a “Transfer Melee”.
Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “At the Threshold”
- Travel to the place where the Curruli meditate and find peace. There should be plenty of Strand, allowing you to train and enhance your abilities there. At least that’s what Osiris hopes.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention: Corruption reveals new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”.
- Petra Venj stands at the top of the pavilion in the area “The Shore” in the Dreaming City. The curse cycle restarts, and Curse Week 1 is active. The 5th Ascendant Challenge is also active.

More power level comes automatically: The power level remains unchanged in Season 22, which means the hard power level cap in Destiny 2 remains at 1,810. So no player is forced to perform at peak every week, but automatically levels up the artifact level in all activities.
- There are still hard challenges, even without an increase in power level. For example, in Grandmaster Raids, Nightfall strikes, Grandmaster Lost Sectors, or the Trials of Osiris. Here, a high artifact level is advantageous and necessary.
