In Destiny 2 the Weekly Reset takes place today, on 27.08. The reset rotates the weekly activities. There are fresh Nightfalls as well as a new Flashpoint. Also, the August Iron Banner has now started. What’s new to do?
What does the new Destiny week bring? The summer festival Solstice of Heroes has now ended, but it continues right away with the next event. Now Lord Saladin is visiting us immediately after. The Iron Lord puts the power of the Guardians to the test within the Iron Banner. They can measure themselves against each other in PvP under his strict gaze for a week.

Strikes and Story Missions
Here are the new modifiers in the Strike Nightfall and heroic story missions:

Note that the elemental burn (singe) remains active until the next reset and the other two modifiers change daily.

- Complete 3 heroic strikes with the focus element that corresponds to the active singe element

This week, here’s what to expect in PvP:

Here’s how to get powerful loot: Keep in mind: In addition to the regular powerful rewards, this week you can take on Lord Saladin‘s 7 Iron Banner bounties, all of which reward you with powerful rewards if you complete them successfully.
Here’s how to get powerful rewards:
- Complete 5 Crucible matches
- Complete 3 Gambit matches
- Complete 4 Gambit Prime matches
- Successfully complete Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
Additionally, the Wanderer has the bounty “Get on with it” for you. Master this bounty, and you will also be rewarded with a powerful item.
Escalation Protocol
This week in this activity on Mars, you have a chance to get the following weapons:

The Flashpoint can be found this week on Io. For this and the associated heroic adventure, you will be rewarded with a powerful reward.
Werner/Benedict 99-40 has 4 weekly bounties for you. Each of them rewards you with powerful loot. If you complete all four bounties, there is an additional powerful reward on top. You can also earn up to 3 more powerful items through the Menagerie – provided you have unlocked the right Upgrades on your chalice of opulence.
Ada-1 has all 7 powerful weapon schematics.
Complete 20 any bounties, and you will receive powerful loot from Ikora Rey.
For earning 5,000 Clan XP, there is also a powerful reward from Hawthorne. If you also complete her bounties “Summoning Ritual,” “Stay on Track,” “Limited Blessing,” and “A Troubling Affair,” you will receive one more powerful item for each of these tasks.
Petra Venj stands during the 3rd curse week in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City.
