Today, on April 14th, it’s once again time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 for the Guardians. They can look forward to new weekly challenges, fresh Nightfall strikes, and a new Flashpoint. Additionally, the second Iron Banner of Season 10 is starting. What else is there for players to do?
What is happening in Destiny 2 right now? Next week, a new difficulty level called “Grandmaster” is set to launch for the Nightfall: The Crucible, which even major Destiny streamers aren’t willing to play.
But there’s new content today as well: The April Iron Banner begins, offering Guardians the chance to complete the quest for the bow “Deer Antler Sprout”.

But what else does the new week hold for the Guardians?
The key information about weekly activities from 14.04. to 21.04.
These Nightfalls are available: The regular Nightfall (Power level 820) offers you the following Nightfall strikes:
- The Pyramidion
- Savathun’s Song
- Guardians of Nothing
In Nightfall: The Crucible the strike
- Tree of Probabilities
is ready.
Strikes and story missions are available with these modifiers:
- Void Singe
- Iron
- Heavyweight
The modifiers rotate daily, except for the Solar modifier, which remains unchanged throughout the week.

Petra Venj can currently be found in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. The maximum curse level (3) is in effect here. Additionally, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.

This is how powerful loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers, granting you different power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers grant higher power boosts as well.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Top gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes over 1000 and up to a maximum of 1010.
For your information: Power levels gained through the seasonal artifact are not considered for the calculation of the power levels of your drops. Here, the average equipment and weapon is decisive.
